    Why? Most of the ignorant are that way by choice. It doesn't matter if something makes sense or not. I personally have never witnessed an ignorant person changing their views based on facts presented.

    I agree with what you think you are saying. The word ignorant is not correctly used. Ignorant means they don't know the facts. Stupid means they know the facts but still won't change their minds. So they are in fact stupid not ignorant.

    I know what ignorant means. A lot of times, (at least on this subject), ignorance and stupidity go hand-in-hand. Have you ever talked to an ignorant anti-gun person who became pro-gun after being informed of the facts?
