    I know nothing about this ammo. Anyone with knowledge know if any good?
    Picked up 120 rds for 30 bucks, thought what the heck. All I know it is made in Russia. All I plan on doing with it is Shooting it.

    Any surplus 7.62 x 39mm has always done me just fine. Visually inspect and shoot it up.

    I have about a half dozen boxes of that ammo in brown and white boxes,it's about the same a Wolf as far as being dirty but it's good shooting ammo and makes good hunting ammo on the cheap. 711 is the plant where the ammo was made that ammo plant is no long operational and it was made in 1994.

    USSR / Russia Mfg. codes 5.45x39, 7.62x39 and 7.62x54r

    3 = Ulyanovsk
    7 = Amursk (Vympel)
    17 = Barnaul
    60 = Frunze
    270 = Voroshilovgrad
    539 = Tula
    711 = Klimovsk
    188 = Novosibirsk
