6.5-06 if done right does not give up much the the 6.5 Rem Mag. Pretty easy shooting Rifle. You can load from 87gr to 160gr. 4064 works well in lighter bullets. 4350 and 4831 work well.

Sounds great I think I'll get a barrel for the 140 grn bullet and then build a load

I'd get a 1:9 twist. Works great on 6.5x55 for 100gr through 160gr.
