Recently uploaded to alt.binaries.e-book.technical in PDF format. It's a pretty good list, but some notable platforms are missing. Many ISPs have an NNTP servers (cox, comcast, *ATT and Verizon no longer have them*) but most people nowadays don't know what they are or how to use them. The server address will be on the ISP's support pages and look something like "news.east.cox.net" . This was the internet for some of us back before the www came into existence. Old school stuff right alongside the local BBS Bittorrent doesn't even come close to the speed and anonymity. There's much more than these manuals there as well as groups are dedicated to just about every subject you could imagine. A guide if you're interested http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/howto-guide-started-usenet/ Here's a partial list screenshot of the manuals.
