So happy to see Bloomie and Andy getting way more pushback than they ever thought they would. Their Money and influence will only buy a biggie coke outside of Albany or NYC. Thats exactly why folks have said forever, all politics is local, Mayors, Sheriffs and other local elected officials cant escape their districts by hiding in Washington or Their little Crapitals! The vote will set them free or make them unemployed, most dont get a retirement for one term in office...

No doubt. Whether these Mayors had an epiphany or they realized they would get bounced at the polls the net effect is positive. Typical how the media is sitting on a libtard FAIL like this

The entire concept of mayors against illegal guns is flawed. Many mayors jumped on board with Bloomberg because they are much like us, they don't like illegal guns either. But they want no part of making all gun owners criminals. Even people that don't own guns can see the need for guns. Mayors see the police blotter unfiltered. They see where a woman used to gun to stop a mean drunk, even though she never fired a shot. Mayors can't see the point of disarming the public. Unlike Bloomberg most mayors try to serve their community.

Now if they were called "Mayors Against Guns USED ILLEGALLY" and that was their true purpose, I'd have more respect for them.

    That is an encouraging story.

Persistent investigation of progressive bigots like Bloomberg, without being distracted by their multi-syllabic gibberish, usually reveals someone that is just plain....stupid.

I'd like to know who the other 49 mayors are.

The mayor of Rockford Illinois dropped out when he realized that it was mostly a campaign against the AR 15 and that very few crimes were committed with AR 15s in Rockford.

This is a very strong statement. True and powerful.

I agree the "title" of organizations and laws are important.

    To John_deer's comment:

I think it is very important to recognize and distinguish the intent in comparison to the solution and approach. They aren't nearly as focused in fixing the problem as evident to some of the "stupid" ways they are trying to accomplish such. But then they bury "false" solutions by promoting a solution of taking guns from everyone. Even their own know that won't fix any issues.

    Edit:

All good reads - take your pick.
