I just received my upper for my rifle an the tank break wasn't indexed and didn't even have crush washer on it. In the event that the manufacture( keeping unnamed until they respond back) doesn't send me a washer how do I go about getting one for a caliber that big? And how do I index the break?

Zel custom made the upper and the barrel is made by lilja. Pictures I will post as soon as I get the upper back. They sent me a return label yesterday and it is on the way back to be fixed.

I ordered it last July and it has been a long time waiting. I will post pictures of my lower assembly setup and repost once the upper comes back to me. It's massive, the barrel is 32" stainless steel fluted with a tank break! Hopefully I can have it back by next week.

What are you planning to use it for. Fun, competition, long range paper hunting?

How many rounds does the mag hold ? Kick like a mule ?

The complete rifle weighs in at about 29.5lbs. It is "supposed/capable" of shooting 1.5 MOA groups at 1000 yards. The magazine holds 5 rounds and it kicks about like a 12 gauge shot gun.... Not too bad over all. Just keep your mouth closed when you fire or the back blast will force air through your nose and eyes!!

Nice. Long range is lots of fun. .338 Lapua here, in a 110BA.

Uh, is that a standard AR lower? If so, where does the mag go? It seems to me a 50 BMG would never fit up the AR mag well.....

It's a POF multi caliber lower. If you are not familiar or haven't seen one in person they are nearly double the wall thickness of a normal AR lower.
The magazine is a side mount. If you look closely on the picture you can see. I will take a picture tonight so you can get a better look.
In addition I took a case hardened steel promag 5 round 5.56 case shaved it down and filled it with two-part 80A shore polyurethane for recoil absorption.

Of course. We hand load most everything we shoot, other than 7.62x39. Quality components arent cheap, but you can get great results. The Lapua cases last alot longer than the others, higher price tho. Normally shooting 250g Combined Techs.
