I was looking at the ballistics on the 5.7 and saw they were somewhat similar the 5.7 had slightly better and you can have heavier bullets
So where im going with this is for a coyote/varmint bolt gun because savage made a 110 in that round and another plus for 5.7 is that it can be reloaded which I love

All I can say is that it is no .22 Hornet.

Hmm. If you want to load your own, obviously the 5.7 will be your own choice. The 5.7 can also indeed be loaded a little hotter and typically with better bullets.

Though honestly I'd just go with a .223. You can down load a .223 about as much as you want if you take the time to learn how to do it, but you can't upload a 5.7 for a 250yd shot like you can a .223.

Owning a couple .22 Magnums...there's much to be said for buying a brick of Federal Game-Shok 50-grain ammo
& blasting heck out of Coyote & everything smaller :D

This fore-runner to the Keltec PMR/PMC is a great example of FUN!! 30-rounds of .22WMR per Mag!!
    Grendel R-31...

And the Sexy Marlin 25MN shoots truly exceptional groups (yeah, I know, pillar bedding rules...lol)
