Winchester Imported some 62gr 5.56 ammo from Sweden. Pretty high reviews. Has been selling really fast, so I bought 2 cases of it. Really nice looking stuff. Sealed primers, sealed bullets, and crimped primers. 62 gr bullets at 3060 ft per sec. What's not to like.

I had some Swedish M193 about two years ago made by Carl Gustavs in Sweden. The primer color and brass seems to be the same. But, the 4 crimps around the primer shouts Carl Gustav plant.

Oh, the price was right for full power match ammo. I have been researching this round for a few days last week and this week. Quantities were dropping fast by case and by the box. So, I ordered another case last night. Darned glad I did. It all went out of stock by right now. He will get more if anyone can. I saw other last week had some of this part number. But, they were about $50 a case higher as I recall. I'll let you know if I see it here again.

Sam, the SGAmmo owner just sent me an email about this stuff. Sam says they will have more of this but not sure how soon. He says Winchester has the ammo in stock, but they are slow in filling orders and shipping. I put myself on the Notify list to be emailed when available. I would sure like to be able to visit his place in Oklahoma some day.

I also put myself on "notify". This is good stuff. Carry quality real world ammo.
Though I would have to rezero to use it "real world" .. might get more of Wolf Gold instead if this stuff doesnt come in soon.

I also like the Wolf Gold. But, the 62gr is better for longer ranges and wind conditions a bit. Plus, this Swedish 62 gr has a higher muzzle velocity.
UPS just emailed they will deliver another case of this Swedish tomorrow.

I kinda will put most of the Swedish in my stash along with my Magtech 62gr, and my Malaysian Surplus 55gr.. The full power stuff to use a bit less than the Wolf Gold 223.

Just for information purposes if you have the ability pull a bullet to determine if it has ball propellant or stick propellant loaded therein.

My son-in-law's friend brought some to our last shoot on Saturday. Didn't really take
much notice until he mentioned it was Swedish ammo and was intrigued.
I was given 300 round of spent brass that we shot and plan to use it for my defensive ammo.;) Love my LC brass but this may be a good 2nd choice.

This stuff is really good in four of my 7 rifles do far. I have 4 or 5 cases of it now and am going to order another. It is much better than any of my 62gr M855 is. Price is really outstanding!!!

^^^This^^^ I loaded some 62g penitrators a while back and they shot low 3" & R 3"... Not wanting to rezero either, I could build an upper just for that round....:D

It does appear Sam at SGammo bought nearly all of this Swedish over run. It is still in stock and available. With this ammo, I see no reason to re-zero any of my AR's at this time. Unless, I go to a 300 yard plus range.

I bought this ammo for my Scar 16s. Took a hog with it with one shot. I didn’t mess with it to see what the damage was. Seems to shoot decent with my Scar.

This 62 gr bullet has the speed of a 55 gr NATO spec round. Over 3000 ft per second.
I stocked up on it for target ammo because it is so much more accurate than any other
Green Tip stuff. When I want to shoot for groups only at 100 to 300 yards, this is my ammo go to. For 1-9, 1-8, and 1-7 twists on 7 AR's. SG got a bit more in the other day, but a bit higher priced. Still, if I needed any more to stash, I would buy it.
