460 Rowland is one of my favorite rounds.I have a Kimber TLE dedicated to 460,a very accurate and nice gun to shoot.Draws quite a crowd at the range when you're shooting it.I just got a 6" KKM barrel for my G30,and I swear it barks just as much as the Rowland, maybe more.

Now iam confused. Did John Rowland invent the 460 round? And, what is the 460 S&W all about?
I guess what Iam asking is,"Was there a 460 round before the Rowland 460?"
Thanks,
Forrest
Rowland, with some help from the guys at Ga. Arms, did come up with the 460 semi-auto round,to use hunting hogs. The 460S&W is a revolver round with a much longer oal.I don't know which round is older.
According to wiki,(take with a grain of salt) the .460 Rowland was introduced in 1998, the .460 S&W was introduced in 2005.
