Don't see why not, as long as you use clips. The S&W is plenty strong, as is the Ruger and Colt.

Can .45 super work good in a revolver?

Ace Customs rates their .45 Super loads at 28,000 cup, which is a LOT higher than SAAMI .45 ACP pressure levels. The brass is strong enough, but your revolver might not be. Have a gunsmith check it out first.
