Seen these calibers on the Buffalo Bore handgun ammo section and not too familiar with them. Heard of 38 super, never of 45 other than acp. Any insight?
Interesting Thanks for that. What about the gap? That one I was most interested in..45 Super is a souped up .45ACP that destroys 1911 quicker with not real advantage.
The .45 Auto rim was designed back when there was a shortage of .45 ACP pistols for our troops in WWI and they issued the Colt and S&W revolvers. They are basically the .45 ACP with a rim to preclude the use of moon clips ("clips" is used correctly here).
Think it stands for glock auto pistol. Not 100% on that. It's shorter than the standard 45acp, while providing same if not slightly better ballistics. IIRC it's fairly expensive ammo.BeyondTheBox said:Interesting Thanks for that. What about the gap? That one I was most interested in.
Huh, very cool! I'll look a little more into it, but logic sports your suggestion and I'd bet you're spot on.Think it stands for glock auto pistol. Not 100% on that. It's shorter than the standard 45acp, while providing same if not slightly better ballistics. IIRC it's fairly expensive ammo.
