yesterday I bought My Wife Her First Gun. A Rossi 410 / 22 Youth Combo. I do not have any experience with 410s. The weight of the gun feels like a BB gun. Can Someone tell me what kind of recoil she can expect w/ 2-3/4 1/5 oz slugs?

Note : She is some what of a wimp

She should probably be able to shoot it one handed. The recoil won't be that bad. Wouldn't recommend that though, not very accurate....

Good effort getting household 6 into it and you are making a smart move by getting a tame weapon to start her off so she might actually enjoy shooting it.
