.410 bolt action how it works?

    How does the bolt lock? (I dont see any locking lugs..)
    When do the extractors exactly grab the cartridge?

    The single locking lug is at the base of the bolt handle. The extractors snap over the rim of the hull when the bolt is closed.

    Yep, what he said. .410 is not a super hot shotgun load and doesn't require multiple heavy locking lugs.
