If you had to choose between the 408 cheytac and the 416 barret for long range what would you choose. Which one would be over all the best gun

I haven't looked it up recently, but I believe the CheyTac is a little bit flatter shooting than the Barrett and the .408 bullet has a very low coefficient, making it the better rifle, but only marginally so. Either on is a top-notch long range game taker.

I would personally recommend the weatherby 460 it is a great gun and shoots great. It also has 450 grain ammo like the 416 barrett so you will get the same amour of stopping power and weatherby cartridges are extremely nice and well made but the downfall to that is that you have to buy weatherby ammunition.
