I just got my 2nd conversion barrel. I now have 9mm, 357 sig, and 40 s&w. As I am looking for 9mm, I now realize that it cost as much as 357 and almost twice as much as 40 s&w....when did this happen? I always thought 9 was the cheapest aside from 22.

The 9mm will return to normal prices when demand dissipates. I got 1000 rounds of American Eagle 147 grain in Jan for $240. You have to be ever vigilant and don't squander your cash on over priced ammo.

Big Sis is ordering LOTS of .40 ammo, so there are probably lots of overruns and such.

That's funny, this is the first time I've read a sentence about the Feds and ammo that didn't involve blaming them for a shortage.

They are buying more 40s than anything else, yet it's more available than many other calibers.

I always like to read something from somebody using their head.
