I have a Sig Sauer P229 and enjoy the heck out of the gun. I picked up three boxes of different ammo to run to see which one this gun shoots more accurately. For the sake of conversation let's assume they all shoot equal as far as accuracy is concerned. The next question is in regards to ballistics and particularly bullet grain/velocity. I am curious as to your thoughts on positives/negatives of the three following: Remington Golden Saber 165gr - HP - fps and ft/lbs not listed on box. CorBon 165gr - HP - 1150 fps - 485 ft/lbs Liberty USM40 60gr - HP - 2000 fps - 500 ft/lbs The USM40 is a considerably lighter bullet (60gr vs 165 gr) and significantly faster. They claim 12" penetration but I can't verify that. In a home defense weapon I want the best that I can reliably run through the gun. While on paper it looks to have the most velocity and energy but I was hoping for some more insight. Thanks a bunch.
