Bought my first Glock last night. Was down to the G22 or G23 for me. I went with the G23. Hoping to make it out to the range today to shoot it.

Question: I made the purchase at Cabelas. I wanted to get a 22round magazine for it, and they do have the Glock brand in stock. But it says for G22 models. Will this work in my G23? I assume it would, but would hate to drop $50 only to find out it won't work.

It should work, no problem. You can use any longer .40 mag, just can't go shorter.

That's what I thought. Just wanted to make sure.

You'll be fine with that mag, I have one and 23 as well.

It's definitely not for concealed carry. Well, the gun is, not the mag. My wife is leaving cabelas for another position soon so I'm making all the purchases I've been thinking about making now while I've still got my spouse discount. Bought the glock, holster, mag, and then 650 rounds of .38 special and 200 rounds of hollow point .40. It all fell in perfect alignment with a bonus at work. Pretty stoked. Wish I got paid like this every month though :/
