I don't know of which pistol you speak. Is it a true .357 Magnum chambering?

If its the little .357 SIG, no way. The cartridges are two different critters.

Even if it was .357 mag you would run into problems. I would not advise doing that.

Do you mean for a Desert Eagle? If so, no. The .38 will not sit right in the mag nor chamber. Very dangerous thing to attempt.

Also even if you got it to seat it would short cycle the desert eagle as it sometimes even short cycles with 357 Mag that is on the softer range of loading.

I don't know if anyone has ever tried it ina Coonan ( and why risk such an expensive instrument?)
