Greg, The only drawback that I had with my 458 SC was the limited useful range that the cartridge has. With hunting pigs, you never know where they will be. If they are coming out past 150 yards, you're pretty much lobbing bullets at them with the 458 SC or the 450 BM & 50 Beowulf.
I got tired of not being able to accurately shoot pigs at farther ranges when they decided to come out away from where we were setup.

The 375 SC will give you a little more useful range, but not much.

I loved shooting my 458, it was fun as hell, but it sucked not being able to shoot hogs that were beyond its range. I don't have that problem with my 260 Remington AR-10.
