Hi, I've just purchased a Taurus 357 revolver and also 'The Judge' I'm looking to buy ammo...dumb question probably but will any 357 ammo work safely in these. I've read that you can use 38 ammo too for practice again can I safely?
Thanks
Druid- welcome to the forum- when you get a minute, drop by the intro thread and say howdy.
As already said- your .357 revolver can shoot any .357 Magnum or .38 Special. It cannot shoot .357 SIG or .38 S&W.
The Judge is a different caliber. That will use .45 colt (NOT .45 auto) and .410 shotgun shells- most use 2.5 inch shells, but check the markings on your gun.
357 & 38 special can also handle 38 long colt [and short colt].
of course good luck on finding any ammo, 410 still seems to be on shelves, so the versatility of the judge may prove usefull...
