Ok its been awhile now has any one else got a 308 hog stalker what is your accuracy and how do you like it mine shoots three shot touching using horndy white tail factory ammo 150 gr it is heavy with the scope at 100 yards 6x20x44 scope
Second the 338 winchester mag model 70 alaskan made in Utah whats the kick like and accuracy using 225 gr horndy sst factory ammo i have a buddy who is a gun smith and can put a custom muzzle break on it cheap would that be a good idea for recoil reduction also what scope buddy says don't over scope it stay with
    A. 2x7 with at least a one inch tube have not shot the 338 yet waiting for a scope and wondering about the kick . I do own a 45/70 1895 marlin guide gun ss and shoot max load comfortably so recoil i can tolerate

Don't know anything about the hogstalker. I shoot a 338WM X-bolt with stout 250 gr loads with no muzzle break quite often and it's not bad. It's on par with 405gr full power 45/70 loads.

My friend has a 308 hog stalker. And the rifle has superb accuracy with lethal ballistics out to extended intermediate distances.
