3006 brass id

  1. Shorting thru some range brass and found this case, I think it’s a nosler and the primer looks larger than a large rifle and it’s got something going on with the body don’t know if it’s head separation or what. I don’t plan on loading it just curious if anybody knows the story on this case IMG_0160.jpg IMG_0159.jpg

    It is pretty close to separating. The rifle it was shot in would had have some real issues. The headspace had to be out far enough to let the case stretch that much to leave that stretch mark.

    Primer is likely a Berdan Euro type, they are a bit larger than the US-standard Boxer.
