    Like what? Can't give you much for ballistics info without specific bullet weight and powder grain info.

    Has dropped more deer than any other cartridge. Mostly because there are literally millions of them been made by Winchester and Marlin. But they are deadly good in the brush short and fast to target.

    Good short range big game cartridge. A little light for elk, although my son killed his first elk with a model 94 .30-30.

    With 20 inch barrel, most factory rounds will make 2400 FPS for 150 grainers, and 2200 for 170 grainers.

    I consider it a 125 yard maximum cartridge, even with the new Hornady ammo. Some folks say they can stretch it out farther than that, but I personally wouldn't be comfortable doing so.
