Happy Pi Day!
Happy Pi Day Boats!
make mine pecan please!
I like pies, and cake as well, although no geometric constants named for such pastries that I am aware and I read that Pi may have actually come from an ancient African culture and not from the early Greeks as many attribute, but I am not sure what type of fruits the Africans would have used for their pies, figs possibly. Many restaurants are throwing in free slices of pie with their entrees today as I heard on radio advertisements and in the newspaper. Pi doesn't stop at 9 but as I understand goes on ad-infinitum, too bad free pie doesn't do that, or free cake and mathematical theorems remind me that Professor Hawking has passed, a great loss for us all in my opinion. I forgot cream pies, I really like banana cream pies,, too much pie pressure today, now I am under a tremendous amount of stress.
My Pi often self-identifies as cake or candy
It has joined the leftie PCCT rainbow group (pi, cake, candy, treat) group and is protesting against restaurants that feature anything healthly
Relax. Have a cigar.
or better yet, have a pie !
I find the concept of pi day to be rather irrational -
Sometimes I just kill myself
NOT the kind of pie I was thinking !..............
NOW we get to it. Uh hu.
Nothing wrong with getting pi-eyed.
3.1416 is close enough for me. Triggerometry was more fun than geometry.
3.14 is close enough for me.
i replied to this thread earlier this morning a couple of times and then sort of put it out of my mind for the most part. well coming home from work the wife stopped off at the store and brought me a homemade cherry pie!
(and no, she didn't have a clue about it being Pi Day!)
but i kind of thought it funny, and then told her what day it was, she just laughed!
I had some pie this morning, that's all I'm gonna say..............
I picked up some cherry turnovers, the banana cream pie at the store was frozen hard as a brick, going to the bakery tomorrow.
