Have factory Windham, and love it. Iron sights relatively accurate, but only shot out to 100 yds. Haven't attempted to do any real accuracy shooting with it... partially because my eye sight isn't as young as it used to be :)

Scored a lower on a local forum group buy.

Haven't figured out what I'm going to do, I'm thinking of doing an accurate longer range type of build, without going into crazy distances. Or should I just do a std build with a good scope and upgraded trigger... So many choices!

I'm sure your Windham can go 400-500 if you throw some good optics on it, depending on the barrel configuration. My AR's all serve different purposes. I don't want to spend the money to build multiple identical rifles. I got a 7.5" pistol build , a 16" 1:7 Middy, and a 16" 1:9 carbine that is stripped down and light with nothing on it. I guess it depends on what you like to do. I would suggest a nice SBR if it is legal in your state. I can't have an SBR in Komifornia.

Can't toss a pistol upper on a lower not sold as a pistol lower, would be my guess, without a mountain of red tape. About 1934 life got complicated and keeps getting worse.

LA gang bangers do anything they want, many of them never see a law enforcement check because they are so established, but we as true law keepers have no rights any longer. Sucks.

A simple swap of color on the second AR makes a nice compliment in any gun collection. I have black, tan and a pink one for my wife, as well as a pistol and a larger LR308.

I forgot about the ole serial numbers, that's why I built the pistol out of a 80% lower.
