Any body using these???? 264, 260, 6.5 x55, 6.5 x284. What do you think??
I was expecting discussion of twenty-six calibers, not .26 calibers.
Opps did I word it wrong??? I can remove the post if you want me to. Just wanted to know if anyone else used them. Just like the performance of that caliber. I have builted three so far. One was a 30/30 necked down to 26 cal.
There are some folks on here that shoot .260/6.5. They will find the thread sooner or later.
Yep,I shoot them.
I built a 6.5 Creedmoor off a trued Savage varmint action,and also have a DPMS LR-260H (AR 10) in 260 Remington.
I just bought all the action parts to change my 300 WM long range target rifle into a 6.5-06,That will be my next project.
The 6.5mm caliber rifles are really great shooters,
I had a XP-100 in 260
I sold the gun because I did not like the rear grip handgun. If it had been a center grip single shot like my other XP-100s I would have kept it.
I did not sell the dies or brass as I will buy a rifle in 260 if the price is right
I want to build a 6.5 grendel upper.
I've heard a lot of good things about this caliber for an AR
I shoot the .260 Rem. and it's a excellent 1000 yard target round. I use the 139 gr. Scenars and the 140 gr. hybrid Berger's, with the 140 gr. Berger's being a tad better for me. Regardless, the .260 has near the same exterior ballistics as my hot rod .300 WM. target rifle out to 1200 yards.
