Here in Slidell, La for the past 2 weeks Acadamy has had all the ammo you can carry with no limit. Good prices too. Anyone else seeing more of this?

there is plenty here. the problem is the prices. they aren't horrible, but on average 20-30% more than pre-panic prices. people are thinking 40 cents a round is good these days, it was closer to 30 cents before the panic.

but it is good to see it around as opposed to NONE. :)

    Its coming back.
but there is enough pent up demand that retailers do not need to lower prices a lot to move inventory.. So they wont ..

They have American Eagle brass for around .25 a round. The Tulammo stuff is like 4.75 a box of 20.

yeah...ive seen those 150 for $70 boxes.....that is coming in just shy of 50 cents a shot.

like i said, its not terrible, but not good. they had 100 round boxing of fed plinking 223 for $34 regularly before this mess started. 34 cents a shot makes me much happier....wonder if it ever gets there again?

My local Wal-Mart has full inventory but the 100 shell box of 12 GA federal bird shot went from $20 to $30 :( No more 300 shell plinking outings.

I bought the steel tula stuff, for better or worse, during the shortage. It is getting easier to buy the brass now, but you still can't know for sure who will have it or when.

We have .223 or 5.56 in good quantities around here, but the price is about $20 higher than normal for a box of 200 rounds FMJ.

Well At least I Got the Rifle In Time

Oh great  I thought that because there didn't seem to be much of a shortage on 12 GA at Walmart, I wouldn't worry too much about purchasing 100 round boxes yet.

    ...caught off guard again.

You would think that because it takes so much less quantity of lead, powder & brass to make a .22LR round, that the stuff would be falling off the shelves by now.

I really suck at predicting ammo availability. :(
