What do you most commonly use your .22 for? If you hunt with it, what do you hunt? I have used my .22 mostly for hunting snakes.

I just like to plink with it, ammo is cheap for it so you can go through a lot of rounds.

I don't hunt and it's not going to work well as home defense, so it's to practice shooting skills and for fun.

Shooting guns is fun.

I use mine for squirrels 'n such. Other than shooting small varmints with one of my .17 or .22 rifles, they are lots of fun to plink with. I also own a couple of .22 pistols which are good for target shooting. Fun, cheap way to shoot these days with ammo prices going up.

I live in a neighborhood - so, just for plinking cheaply at the range.

Hunt rabbit, squirrel, raccoon, plinking, targets at the range (eyes are getting older though, getting harder to see that wood kitchen match at 100 yards and light it had to move it up to 50 yards ...)
