I know this is broad but I'm looking to get a .22 rifle for snake hunting. House backs up to a lake and I have a snake infestation. Looking for one that resembles a sniper rifle. Any suggestions?

Looks like a sniper rifle? Broad terminology for sure. Are you looking for a bolt action with a scope? What distances? Cheap and easy, mossberg has a bolt .22 for cheap. Semi
Auto as well, marlin 60 is good.

Yeah bolt action with a scope. Distances ranging from 30to50 yards

Look at the tactical Ruger 10/22, (not the AR style) throw a scope on it and you've got it.
