For the price of the kit you can pick up used 22. I am a new gun owner and wondering what the purpose of the kit is?

I believe the purpose of it is to shoot 22lr. Pistol. But have the same exact grip as always along with the trigger and overall feel. But cheaper ammo

Yes, the purpose is to get the experience of shooting your full size 92 series hand gun with the .22lr cartridge. That said, I have an aftermarket conversion kit that perfroms very well. Its accurate and no issues. My only issues would be I don't like the sites on it but it hasn't stopped me from shooting it.
