I would like to have a .22 pistol to be able to teach my kids to shoot as well as for low-cost target practice. I have been looking at .22 revolvers and semi's as well as at a conversion kit for my G19. The conversion kit would also give me the additional benefit of being able to practice with the exact same gun that is my carry gun. All of the options (revolver, .22 semi, and .22 conversion kit) all seem to be in the $300 - $400 price range. My question is this, is there any risk of damage to my Glock 19 frame (including firing mechanism) from installing a .22 conversion kit? Thanks.
