I had been following along to another thread on the Slidefire Stocks and the amount of ammo I'd use, well the amount of money I'd spend on ammo, deterred me from them. I got to thinking though and if I had a Ruger 10/22 with a collapsible stock and all the other crap on or a S&W MP22, could it be possible to put one on them?

I've seen YouTube videos where a guy put one on a mp 1522. They have also made them and they work ok. I'm thinking about making one and trying it on mine for sh*ts and giggles. If I can find a cheap stock and grip I may give it a go. There is no practical use for them, but for what they are it would be fun to have one for Haha factor.

You can do a reg bumpfire with a 10/22 . I don't see why anyone would spend 350.00 to do it .

Why would anyone spend $350? For the same reason people pay $1200 for Kimber Solo CDG when they could buy a High Point for about $150. Both have the same purpose, shoot bullets.

I would like to do my 10/22 but was under the expression that the weapon to be modified had to have a buffer tube and the 10/22 does not. I have also not been able to find a dealer that has one for a 10/22 locally or on line. Does anyone know of a dealer?

    Wrong weapon entirely...

    What you REALLY need is a Calico M-100 carbine...anything less...is, well...lesser.
100-rounds PER MAG of .22lr Bumpfire goodness...and all you need for bumpfire with these is a rubberband...
