Hi all. How do I sight in new scope?
Reading the directions would be a fine place to start. Gimme a second and I will google it for you.
Get a good rest that really cradles the rifle. Start at 25 yards. Fire the rifle and move the cross hairs, not the rifle to the impact point. Fire a second shot and repeat. Move out to 50 yards and repeat. Really simple. You should be all set within 10 rounds at the most.
Bore sight it first-
Ok sounds good. Thanks for your help.
+1 on the boresighting & a good rest. The gun shop I use will boresight it for 10 or 15 bucks. If you buy the gun & scope from him, he does it for free. Maybe it'll take you only 10 shots if it's already close, and know what you're doing, LOL......
