I hope so, but in MN., I don't see it yet. I was in Fleet Farm today and the only handgun ammo was .40 cal.

My 3 lgs's have ammo plenty of 9mm 40 45 but the 9'and 45 are high as hell 33 and 45 bucks the 40 is still 25 a box :) they have 22 but its 12.99 a box at 2 of them they sell as many as you want to buy the other as it 9.99 but limit one per person per day. Those are all boxes of 50 by the way

Ha, those are new to me, thanks. I got my last batch of .22lr from ammo in a can. Not cheap, but they have it.

Well, last Sunday I was in my LGS where I hang out on cold rainy days- the place that tosses me the keys to the rack locks when I want to look at a used gun.

They have not been price gouging, but have just been out of ammo- to the point that they were limiting .22 LR and 9mm to one box WITH the purchase of a firearm. Mgr told me- hate to do it, but someone wants to buy a gun, and I can't sell him at least one box of ammo, it is a no sale. This is NOT a hole in the wall shop.

Went back to the bunker, loaded up a small part of my stash, drove back- told him -Here's 2 bricks of Remington .22, and a case of Remington 9mm. It is a loan. Sometime this summer, when the stupid dies down, pay me back- like kind and quantity- and we're even.

Good folks, they keep an eye out for stuff I collect, are willing to do a good natured haggle on used guns- If I can help them out a little, why not?

Excelent way to do business. I sure hope this coming summer is the settle down. But frankly I don't see it. Gees all I want is a few bricks of .22 without having to take out a loan. I have some now, but I cannot shoot unless I have replacement.

My local range has a wall covered with cases of .40. Their prices on 9mm are $20 a box for range members, .22 is $18 a box. And .45 is $33 a box!!! It's almost cheaper to shoot 9mm!
