Looking to buy a good 22-250 any input? Damage accuracy etc.?
Get one in a good bolt action (which is probably about what you'll find anyway other than a few single shots.) They are accurate. Great for varmints and targets, marginal on deer and may even be illegal for deer and/or antelope in some states.
I have one in savage axis and this is the groups I get @ 100yds
Now damage to critters idk about cuz I haven't got luck yet but ground hog season starts here soon and me and the 22 ultra mag aka 22-250 will be waiting P.s. my barrel was very hot on the last to groups to the left that's y it opened up some
I RUN LIKE A CHEVY AND IM BUILT FORD TOUGH
check out the Marlin XS7VH in 22-250. 26" heavy barrel and they are priced very reasonably. i have the XS7VH in the 308 and paid $370 + tax, NIB. shoots great and very accurate. it was my third X7 purchase and like it so much that i have plans to add the XS7VH in 22-250 to the collection. MSRP is about $395, but they usually sell much cheaper depending on where you shop.
