I have two colt 1911's. One was made in 1918 and sent to an armory for reconditioning, don't know when, so it says model of 1911, and the other was made in 1943 and is in original shape. Both are in very good condition, with original grips. Just curious if anybody has a ballpark figure what they might be worth. Thanks.
We can help, but good photos would be helpful. If you can post serial numbers, that would be most helpful too. Just omit the last two numbers of the serial number for your privacy.
...and welcome here. You're going to make some people jealous with two old Colts like that.
Pictures of condition is a big help in gauging value. Did they come to you through family?
Colt 1911's are always nice to have around. I am very jealous.
