I had read an article about the Browning Black Label .380 (85% sized) 1911 (4 1/4" barrel) and found it interesting - showed it to my Wife - she bought one. We both enjoyed shooting it

then my Wife's Brother (a LEO) came for a visit and brought along his Black Label Browning - the 3 5/8" barreled one. He had shot just 1 magazine thru it - my Wife talked him into selling it to her

so now she's got the Browning Black Label .380 twosome - we both find these 2 pistols more pleasant to shoot that her Sig 238 and her Glock 42 (and the Ruger LCP which I got rid of long ago)

highly recommend for anyone looking for a smaller 1911 in .380

That is a cool pistol and a nice write-up. At one time, many years ago, I went through the Star firearm phase. It began when I got a multi firearm deal for some plumbing work, it ended when I sold my last PD. The inability of getting one's hands on replacement parts scared me away from them.
