Does anyone have any thoughts on the .17 remington fireball? Ive seen all the hype on the ballistic charts, but im looking for some first hand experience in the field on a coyote/bobcat type. Affective range? Pelt damage? Too light in the wind? Is this cartridge here to stay or just a highspeed trend? Accuracy? Barrel life? I have .204, 22-250,and 223 for varmints, and i am wondering if the Fireball could be next on my list. Also some good remington models to get it in. Im not into the heavy bench rifles. Thankyou

It is supposed to be a great round with velocity slightly lower than the 17 rem and lower report as well. I got a buddy that has one and he loves it.

Your going to get the most news out of this site Saubier.com I would caution you on going there as you may end up with a bunch of sub caliber rifles floating around your safe.
