10mm conversion kit???

    Is there a conversion kit to use 10mm in my XD45? I haven't seen one, and i'm wondering why.

    I would love an XDm 5.25 in 10mm. Don't think it'll happen though.

    If you really want extreme you can convert the 5" XD 45 'tactical' to 460Rowland for about $350-400. You'll probably appreciate this pic...

    There are quite a few folks who take HK USP 40s and ream the chambers to 10mm spec. And feed them with Sig mags.

    You could do the same with the XD. You just can't run full pressure ammo

    Mine is the 5"/tactical/geezer barrreled XD45. 460 Roland sounds a little more expensive to mail-order than 10mm. Oh well. :(

    If you want to shoot full power 10mm rounds out if a poly striker fired gun then Glock 20 or 20 slim frame was designed around the 10mm round and then Glock redesigned it to take .45.

    The XD was designed to have that smaller grip and makes it hard to shoe horn in the longer 10mm.
