New to handguns. Considering Ruger P95 purchase. Other than state gun laws, is there any reason to consider the 10 rd. over the 15 rd. option?

Not on that pistol. On some of the "compact" Springfield XD models, i bleve you can use a higher capcity mag to give the "compact" a more full-sized grip, but i haven't heard of that with a P95.

    Nice pistol, BTW.

The 15 round mag is the "standard" capacity magazine. The 10 round mag is a modified magazine to comply with Draconian gun laws. They may not function properly. A full magazine (15 rds) carries a little extra recoil absorbing weight.

not a lot of felt recoil just a nasty snap. i find them far slower on follow ups than a 45acp in a similar gun.
