I recently bought a 10/22 that seemed to work flawlessly for about the first 150 rounds, now it hangs a spent case in the action every 4 or 5 rounds. Ive cleaned it twice, completely disasembled. CCI Blazers seem to be more prone to the problem but also occurs with Remington Golden Bullets, CCI Mini Mags, and Federal Something or Others. Everything looks ok with the extractor. Is this a common issue with break in or a possible problem that I cant see? This is my first 10/22 so im in the dark here.

sounds like the extractor may need replacing or reshaped (which doesn't take much)

its not normal contact ruger. they have decent customer service.

If the extractor is the problem (it looks fine) I dont want to replace it with another potential piece of sh!t thats gonna mess up again. Whats a good aftermarket piece thats dependable or this thing is gonna be looking for a new home.

I ordered the Volquartsen Exact Edge extractor from Rimfire Sports & Custom. 11.95$ and free shipping. Didnt spend alot of time looking for the cheapest price but the free shipping sold me fast. From what you guys have said and the customer reviews ive read this seems to be the fix for my issue, well the guns issue, my issues we can try to figure out on another day.
