In 1 hour at the range, keyed in to keyed out of gate, I sighted in my rifle for my first hog hunt next month (no adjustments needed) shot my 1911 for fun, and spontaneously drew and unload my EDC.

Fast trip but when you have a combat put to yourself it can be lots of fun!

Any minute you can spend shooting is better than any minute you can't. ;)

Our sessions tend to be 90+ minutes almost all the time. If we're at the indoor place, usually 60-90. If we go out to the Nat'l Forrest (high desert), we are 2 Hrs. Or better...
I started taking 2 ammo cans on outdoor trips instead of 1.....

For outdoor range. 100 & 200 yds. Big ammo can for 2 or 3 rifles (1 or 2 milsurps). Ammo to load test plus plinking. Targets & stand. Spotting scope with stand and sometimes a rifle scope. Brass bags & shooting bags. Various tool, mags, & clips. Coffee, cooler, sandwich.
Drive 2 hours, stay at least 4. Drive 2 hours.
Hall all said stuff to basement and commence cleaning.
Oh, pet dog and kiss wife at some point.
