HOw many MOA should a scope have to reach out to 1,000 yards?
If you are always going to be shooting longgg range then you could shim the base so any scope would work.
Make a huge difference what caliber you were shooting also.
depends on the caliber.
a lot of people who shoot longrange utilize 20moa canted scope bases so the zero is at the lower range of the scope adjustment. this gives a lot more adjustment.
Just fill in the blanks and let the program do the rest for you.
Is that a fixed power scope?
Why shim when you can get a 20 moa base
"Why shim when you can get a 20 moa base "
Because I'm old, thats why. We always had to shim bases. I forget all those new-fangled things. Sorry.

Like many old people I live in the past. Thats why I never answer a question anyone may have about Glocks, AR's etc.
