Tinbucket, dude, lighten up! :)

big deal. so what?

you counter this with boycotting them. just that simple. personally, i don't have any business dealings in any way with them or their affiliate companies, nor do i have one of their credit cards. so what they want. or think they want really doesn't mean a hill of beans to me, nor does it have an bearing in the slightest on my life or the outcome of my life in any way.

do you even bank at CitiGroup, or any of their affiliate companies they own? do you have one of their credit cards?

you really need to think about getting some decaf coffee before you log onto the forum and start posting! :D

you're worrying over something that really doesn't mean anything to the average person. these rants of yours are getting very boring sir.

I figured you would jump in like that.
I started not to post it because of it.
It is about 2A. You didn't post in anywhere.
So post Citi group being mean to Firearms Owners and leave it that without details, the ramifications, Gun Owners Concerns, and away to deal with it.
Why didn't you post then? Why don't you post 99% of the 2A relevant post about threats, infringements etc.
Instead you rant and scream shut up you cannot not speak about it. You cannot tell others and I won't.
because 99% of the time, your rants and tirades end up evolving into pure politics, with very little if any, to do with 2nd Amendment rights, or gun rights or fighting for our gun rights.

you simply hate having people point that fact out to you. you have some deep-seated anger issues you really need to deal with Tinbucket, before you end up having a stroke or heart attack.

Mr. Chainfire and i both just the other day offered some friendly suggestions and advice on this same matter, and you went off on Mr. Chainfire like he was a red-headed stepchild. it was was very embarrassing in what you did. you should be ashamed of yourself and you owe Mr. Chainfire an apology for your post to him.

Tin.

simply put, if Citibank, or it's affiliates, want to do what you claim they are doing, it is their right as a business to do so. And there are ways for their customers to counter them doing it, and it's very simple really.

Change banks, refinance their loans and homes, to a more 2A friendly option, and let Citi starve. Simple as that.

Now, if you wish tp post these political rants, go to your profile page, and click on the supporting membership option, then spend the $20 for a year's membership, and start posting that s*** where it belongs, in PR&C. no more locked threads, having to delete your posts, due to them becoming political, ect, that way.

And FYI to those who are going to hate on me for posting this, and start b****ing about it being "Pay to Play", 1. DILLGAF, and 2, i pay for that membership, every year, and you know where I hardly ever post?

PR&C.

tyhe entire reason I do it is, I like this place, and I want to contribute to keeping the servers and the site running. No more, no less. and several forums I visited before landing here, have a mandatory, $20 to $40 membership fee, to even access content there.

Chew on that.

And if you don't believe me, go on and visit PR&C, and look for how many threads I have even posted in there, much less, ones I started. both are very low numbers, and as far as I can remember, I have yet to even start one there.

So anything regarding the RTKABA, being attacked either by private or political enemy's and posting a response to counter that attack on our rights must be posted where 4 members wish it to be.?

As I stated 2A I'd tied to politics like it or not because of gov infringement.

Folks would like this forum to only be able to discuss protecting our RTKABA in a closed area,?

Seems odd for a gun forum. JMO.

You don't understand who charters those banks. Even without Glass-Stegal they don't have the Right to go beyond the Law.
Well I made a good contribution to what I expect to be changed. Virtually assured.
What has anyone else done to get things changed, at least here.
I did not see one comment or anything by Locus or understands, or chooses to the scope of the problem and why the attack goes beyond the immediate issue.
So go ahead and censor and keep your heads in the sand because otherwise, it offends authority.
I hoped some would want learn on who and how to fight our battle to preserve our 2A Rights and all our Rights. Lose one they will cancel them all. That is their intent. Refuse to think about it and to understand well...that is up to each one.
So lets hear, of what you two or three have done or are doing with effect to preserve our 2A Rights and our Republic.
I bow out. Close the door behind me.
we fully understand a lot more than you give us credit for Tinbucket!

do you think you're the only that gets it? that the rest of us are deaf, dumb, and blind, without you around to point things out for us? seriously do you think that?

and i have asked you on many occasions on such topics. you go off on these rants, and exactly, other than coming on this forum moaning, and griping, are you doing to change things? some of us, are actually doing something, and not just posting long nonsensical rants on a gun forum. so exactly what are you doing Tinbucket? put your money where your mouth is sir!

Personally I've already been speaking to friends and family about changing banks, cards etc.

And speaking to our state reps and gov office to urge if the state of KY does business with Citi Corp, to change financial institutions.

Delta paid a heavy price in GA for their idiocy. Now it's citicorps turn.

Many of us have stopped doing business with Kroger, over their stance and Walmart over asking for photo ID to buy ammo with cash.

Along with calling both corporate entities.
I'll be speaking to the board of the volunteer charity organization my wife and I founded about stopping purchases of supplies from either chain.
A much bigger local impact than I individually can accomplish on Kroger Sam's, or Walmart.

Either we fight back now with every available peaceful tool or this WILL devolve under the present administration to much worse situation and may well do so anyway.

nobody has abused Tinbucket. and if he feels he's the victim of personal attacks, then he needs to be reporting the "offending" posts and let the Mods or Admins address the issue if there are any. but here's the deal, it would be hard for him to report being abused, or attacked personally, since the majority of the time he's the originator of the insults being flung. just last week he went postal on Mr. Chainfire who was trying to be helpful and answer his questions along with trying to give him some friendly advice. this week in this thread he went after Mr. Locutus, and myself, also many times having been the recipient of his insults and personal attacks.

too many times he has gone off on people when they challenge his posts or threads, or asked for links to the sources so that others may view them and draw their own conclusions. many times, he has gone back and edited his posts as to delete them to ..................., when someone has found fault in his statements, or comments.

if Tinbucket wants to play with the adults on the forum, then i would suggest he grow a bit thicker skin, quit taking things so personal, and act like an adult, instead of acting like a spoiled child who got their hand slapped.

as it has been pointed out by the Mods to me, you can attack the content of a person's post, or challenge their opinions, or viewpoints, as long as you're not attacking the person themselves. and last i checked, slinging insults are personal attacks. if he has a problem wiht a particular member, then he could also use the Ignore feature of the forum.

I agree that Citibank is just bending to the pressure of the left. But so what?
It's mostly talk. Look at what they are proposing. The want their clients to only sell guns to those who pass a background check....which is exactly what they are already doing. There isn't one gun dealer who uses Citibank that doesn't require a background check. Do they think that gun sales on the street are done with bank cards? And they won't allow the sale of bump stocks....so what? They are on the way out anyway. And then the age issue. They are just parroting what is already in place. It's all about perception. Nothing has chained except they are pretending to make sweeping changes because of an image they want to create. Just more fake crap inspired and demanded by the left. And I have no Citibank card nor do I do any transactions with them.

Maybe we need to make firearms part of a religion. After all that baker in Oregon was not allowed to deny service to a gay couple on religious grounds.

I type that a bit tongue in cheek, as I am not sure they can legally deny doing business with someone who is in a legitimate, legal business. Gun manufacturers, retailers and customers are all dealing in something not only legal, but backed by the Constitution.

Maybe the answer will be lawsuits.

Rep. Todd Rokita (R-IN) is pushing to end Citibank’s federal contract after the finance giant adopted new gun policies that do not respect the Second Amendment.
Citibank currently enjoys a $700 billion contract with the General Services Administration (GSA), and Rokita is seeking to have that contract terminated.

anyone that is the recipient of any federal contracts should never be allowed in any way to violate any Constitutional Right of any citizen in this country in any way, shape or fashion.
