I have had computer problems with both computers for several days, with being hacked and Firefox updating without permission, destroying links to stories and even email links button is gone, a lot of snooping by all the marketers in the tray and on and on.
Several months ago mid last year I think Trump, in response to a question, said It is about time we deal with Gun Control, or similar words.
I hope I am dead wrong. I supported and voted for him.
He violated our faith on other matters like Illegal Aliens so....
I hope not. With what happened in Florida, where some in the media and the cast of Characters or Subversive Socialists/Marxists, calling for gun control and blaming us the NRA.
The game, with concentrating accusations, at NRA is designed to get people not to join or pay any dues or contributions, or fear of NRA being labeled an unwholesome subversive organization even a terrorist organization.
Seems a lot of freedom Lovers need more spine and ability to spit back into their eyes.
I haven't put my NRA Stickers on my vehicles for fear of vandalism in some areas. Tomorrow they go on.
We have to concentrate on letting President Trump and Congress know we won't allow our Second Amendment Right and our First Amendment Right and all others to be stripped from us. Right now In New Jersey the new Billionaire anti Second Amendment anti Constitution Governor is doing just that.
The Politicians have to meet ours and Republic's Expectations. We won't be bullied. We won't support or contribute our pennies and hopefully more to any more liars and turncoats.
Thirty six states have seen their Legislatures switch to Democrat majorities so far.
They have been engineering and cheating ever sine Obama machine, I am convinced, stole the elections.
Every one, of us, has to, in defense, of our selves, family and community, our Republic, work to get out the vote, not for any political party, but for those, among us, Freedom Lovers and Staunch Champions for our Second Amendment, before it is too ate to file for this fall's elections.
You already know if someone really supports 2A they support the whole of OUR Constitution.
Starting tomorrow not next week, go about with deliberation to identify what needs doing in your communities and who to support or find to run.
The money, well, we will have to make peace, with the devil, so to speak to get whoever, has the money and will go the strongest on 2A and everything else, even if he is in it or himself first but proclaims our Interest, the Country's and all other issues is his first.

that is true to an extent. it's not that gun laws don't work, it's that the problem is lack of enforcing existing gun laws that isn't working. criminals are going to break the laws. that's a given, since that is why they are criminals in the first place.

a civilized society needs laws. or you end up with chaos and anarchy. that is just a fact of life.

Laws prevent nothing.
They offer a way to punish murders rapists IE violent crimes after the fact.
So you don't think drink drive laws and the possible consequences, prevent some people drink driving. That's one example of hundreds of laws that are a deterrent and punishment if the deterrent doesn't work. Laws will never stop some people from braking them, but that's not their purpose.

No I don't.

BUT a law against DUI doesn't violate a basic human right. It is useless but it violates no right.

All gun regulations do violate the ed RTKABA.

They prevent nothing.
They only empower criminals and weaken the law abiding.

They cause the shedding of innocent blood by giving the advantage to the criminal.

We have spent to many decades sacrificing innocent lives while proving beyond any doubt gun control fails in every variation it's enacted and everywhere it's forced on the citizenry.

It's time to repeal all gun regulations, and empower the citizenry as we have empowered the violent criminal for decades.

I would have to agree with strict enforcement of the Laws we have! Since seems the AR-15 and similar weapons have been the choice of these punks maybe there should be a 21 age on purchasing an AR or similar rifle as with the pistols. But this Cr**p that a young person over 18 could not buy a gun until 21 for target shooting, hunting, ammunition and what ever is ridiculous! And a parent should be responsible for guns in the home! I am giving Trump the benefit on this until I see what he really does. I do not believe that any gun control is going to much occur. I believe Trump is smarter than some will give him credit. I believe some of his generic comments may have been to throw the radical anti-gun Dems off guard having a plan to focus on School Safety and Mental Illness. He give them a carrot that he will not allow to happen. I could not help but see Feinstein's reaction and smile when she thought there stupid Assault Rifle Ban was a possibility! Didn't work from 1994 - 2004 and wont work now! Just another ploy and violation attempt of our rights as Americans by the Dems. Look at California for example they sure have done miracles haven't they! I have an FFL and have doing Background Checks on NICS for the companies for years. The main thing we need to have the authorities do their job and keep the mentally ill from getting or possessing a gun. IMO opinion we do need a national data base so the NICS Checks and others are effective. We really need Mental Hospitals again as in the past where they would be treated. Also anyone that knows someone has an issue of being mentally ill and does not notify the authorities should also face penalties. And as well as a parent of someone allowing a weapon to be available for their mentally deranged person or child. They should assure that all weapons are secure and the mentally ill could absolutely not be able to obtain a weapon or buy one and ammunition as they have easily been able to at the present. So since they have the opportunity now since the past administration did nothing. Let us address mental illness and the surrounding issues of weapon possession by them. OMI
We will have to see? But we need to be very vigilant on the Second Amendment issues.

Mental illness. So just any mental condition denies the have a gun?

Or just certain conditions.
Whose crystal ball do we use to predict somebodies behavior?

Mental illness is a red herring for the anti gun gun crowd.

There should not be a NICS system or FFl licence.

Neither have accomplished squat but burden the average citizen RTKABA.

trumps comments were very clear and specific as to what wants concerning guns.
Nothing generic about them.

Congress however quickly got the hint, like over night, that Trump one termed himself and they would follow.

Hence no vote on gun control will be occurring in the foreseeable future.

Well today it was proven that gun laws are not aggressively enforced. A young Deputy who worked in the County next to ours. Was gunned down and killed around 9:00am this morning after trying to run down a fleeing subject after a car pursuit . All three of the subjects in the car had lengthy records. Once again they should not have had a gun in the first place. Maybe we should start investigating these scumbags like we do drugs. Get intel from some one on them and if they have a gun available! Bring the wrath of the law down on them. That in itself is a Felony . And get rid of the liberal judges in our Nation! Might be a good thing to hold judges responsible for their lenient decisions which result it these terrible incidents. Disbarring them would be a good start!
The young Deputy which I knew of him, leaves behind his young Wife and a 3 and 4 year old babies! God Bless them and their family and the Department at this time. I lost three friends over my carrier in the line of duty! And quite frankly today I am P***ed off & Furious. This time and every time! The officers shot the guy that shot him but he does not have life threatening injuries.:( If I could have only been there with a good AR-15! ;)

First condolances on the loss of your friend.

The drug war is a total flop. And has been the cause of 4th A being torn to shreds.

Little reason to duplicate that failure concerning guns.

Criminals WILL be armed. That's simple reality. No law, LE, congress or POTUS is going to change that.

The gun laws aren't strictly enforced because they are unenforceable . It ain't for lack of LE and liberal judges trying.

Few except flaming anti gun nuts will inform on someone just because they have a gun in violation of a constitutionally dubious law only a few decades old.

Criminals don't buy guns at dealers or go thru a BC. Nobody who would maybe report something as trivial as a free felon with a gun will know the criminal has one in the first place.

Again. Much sympathy for your loss. But gun regulations or tossing the COTUS out the window as has been done in the drug war won't accomplish anything now anymore than it has for decades.
