Yes, they introduced the LCPII earlier this year and many of the shops in my area dropped the price of the originals to the 180-200 range and are selling the newer ones for about 100 bucks more. I will say it is a whole new gun, not just a new version of the old with slight differences. I haven't shot the new one but it is supposed to be a whole different animal than it's predecessor.
Though I saw PSA had em for $160 to $180, can not remember. I own one. I do not think I would every buy one(won it).
My S&W BG .380 is enough for me and a better shooter. Haven't looked much at the LCP II
Edit: I have seen the Bodyguards and Shield getting quite a bit lower than what they were this past spring and summer. May be time to buy one or the other if a person is interested.
I don't regret getting mine at about 200 but I will say I think there are much better options out there... Mine is reliable as the day is is long but it does not shoot to point of aim.
