I was at my favorite gun store a few days ago and they had a Canik TP9SF. I had a TP9SA at one time, but traded it off. They let me handle this one and I liked the trigger on it. They had an extra mag they would throw in, so I got a like new gun, all the items that come with it, and 3 18rd mags for $300 out the door.
The only evidence that it may have been fired is some wear marks on the top of the barrel. The internals are spotless. There's no residue on the followers of the mags. It's clean as a whistle. I'm wondering if the wear marks could just be from people racking the slide at the shop.
It rained yesterday and today. I hope I can take this out and play with it soon.
Anyone else have one? What do you think of it?

I don't have the SF but have an SA and a V2 which each have been ultra reliable, fun to shoot, and very accurate. I think they are a good bargain and at $300 out the door you did good.

Glad it ran well for you. I'm on a trend of avoiding steel cased ammo but had run some in my V2 which I've been running a kind of extended test on to see what it will take before requiring a cleaning and lubing again. Working my way toward 2,000 rounds before I will lube it. So far it hasn't missed a beat.

I saw a V2 at the gun show today, used, but clean and everything in the box. It was $335. It's a nice size, reminded me of a CZ compact.
I just shot the steel to make sure it can, if it ever gets to the point that other ammo is hard to find. I don't plan on shooting it again.
