I have had a couple brands of guns but my favorite has to be the S & W M&p 40 full size. I just recently bought a shield want to know people's thoughts about it. And what is your brand?
I always carry both my S & W Model 637 Airweight .38 snub and my Ruger LCP .380. The S & W is in a pocket holster in my right front pocket. The LCP is in a cell phone style case on my left hip. This arrangement allows me to draw a gun with either hand and to draw the LCP while seated and buckled in my car.
The Black one for Summer(XDS .45 ACP), the Silver one for cooler weather(1911 .45 ACP), as there is only Summer and Cooler(Less Hot) weather here. These are my BO choices.
I agree except I do not shoot glocks well so they are not in my house even though I have had to carry them on duty for many years. 642 for the 'pocket', M&P shield for OC and CC, SP101 for 'out door' activities.
my father is thinking about selling me his S&W Model 60 and getting the new Ruger LCRx in 38 Spl. my brother bought the LCR in 38 Spl. a couple of years ago and Dad has taken a liking to it.
i'd like to have a smaller revolver for carry, and the older Model 60 might be a good fit for me. it would be a good upgrade from my usual carry 380 auto pistol.
Springfield Armory 1911A1. One gun, one drill. I am too old to be remembering which gun I am carrying today as I am potentially reaching for the solution to a life or death problem.
The longer I carry the smaller the guns get. My body shape dictates light and small. Right now I'm down to a Ruger LC9s Pro but could go less if necessary. The Hogue grip boot helps fill out the single stack grip.
My primary carry these days is this old beat up but very tight Colt Cobra, a real one not the new one Colt just came out with. I have a bunch of handguns that I carry occasionally, a 9mm. Shield, a CZ82 but this in a old IWB rig seems to conform best to my 6' 2" 300 lb. body.

I now carry the Sig P365 as EDC/CCW. The G29 was kinda hard to conceal.
In spite of the haters of the 365, mines been flawless for well over 3,000 rounds.
All the 365 haters can eat dead crow thats been laying in the desert sun for days.
actually, the P365 has made it to my short list of a replacement carry pistol. I really like the specs on it, and that it will be a great upgrade from my Bersa 380.
I'm guilty too guys lol...………. bought a P365 last summer and do like it a lot! It does make it into the cc rotation now & then. Could just be that great minds think alike rotflmao

My favorite, just for the comfort angle is my FEG P63 .380 ! I've never held a more comfortable pistol. Easy to shoot, very accurate, little recoil so it's easy to hold on target. But I only carry it in the warmer weather when penetrating several layers of clothing isn't a factor. During the rest of the time, I rotate between my Canik C-100 9mm and the KelTec P11.
I have made a slight change. Even though I like carrying my Kahr P-380 in a DeSantis Nylon Ankle Holster because you almost forget you are carrying it because it is so light and comfortable to carry. Hot weather over and wearing heavier clothes or a jacket they help make it easier to conceal. So I am presently carrying either Kahr K 9, 9mm or the New Springfield XDS in 45 ACP. Just prefer larger calibers when they can be easily concealed.
