Grizzly cartridge company ammo (is it safe)

I have bought a variety of different ammo for my new model 700 cdl dm to test for accuracy. For example some Remington 150 gr scirocco, double tap 165 gr accubonds, and nosler 180 accubonds, also thinking about Remington 165 accutips. These are all pretty pricy ammo's but I found them on clearance at different websites to test premium bullets. I was thinking of trying grizzly cartridge company ammo since they use the scirocco bullets, but the velocities seem pretty extreme. Is there a possibility it could damage my rifle? I wonder if anyone has any experience with this ammo. by the way I am shooting 30-06 caliber. fps for the 150 gr is 3100, 165 gr is 3000, and the 180 gr is 2900. I would only use this ammo if I found a really, really good deal. The price is even more extreme than the velocities. So I was just a little leary of trying it because I don't want to damage my new rifle. IS IT SAFE or should I steer clear and just experiment with what I bought. Appreciate the feedback

If it's commercial ammo manufactured to SAMMI specs, why wouldn't it be safe?

This^

There is nothing particularly magical going on with their stuff. Their claimed velocities seem a bit on the hot side, but nothing scary.
My biggest criticism is that they are quite proud of their products, judging by the prices. But hey, premium ammo has never been cheap. Their prices for their cast bullets, however, border on the obscene.

I have tried to find some customer reviews on their rifle ammo but I can only find people who have used their handgun ammo. And there were a few that swore it damaged their semi-auto handguns because of the back pressure. And they were compact semi-autos (and they said the manufacturer rep agreed it was the ammo). But a bolt action rifle mechanics has nothing in common with a semi-auto handgun.

muzzle velocity is of little concern as far as the ammo. as long as the pressure levels are within SAAMI specs, and the ammo is manufactured to SAAMI specs, it will work just fine in your rifle.

they probably have a special powder made specifically for them that brings the muzzle velocity up, without bringing the pressure levels beyond specs for that particular cartridge.

no reputable ammo manufacturer is going to last very long in business if their ammo is tearing up people's guns.

I use Grizzly handgun fodder,, they are the only factory maker of .500 Wyoming Express ammo that I know of and have had no problems at all with their quality or reliability. I have not used any rifle fodder but would not hesitate to do so. It is expensive but most premium stuff from any manufacturer will be as well. They do not make plinking loads, so I just use Grizzly when necessary and reload practice fodder. I like their products.

I just wanted to add to this conversation even though its been awhile. I bought some 308 Winchester 147gr ball ammo from Grizzly Cartridge and it rendered my gun useless after a few shots. The pressure in one cartridge broke the ejector pin off of my AR-10 BCG. This caused a failure to eject which then caused a double feed with the spent brass behind a live round in which I had an "out of battery" discharge. I'm blessed to have all my fingers still, but my gun will never shoot another round. I built an Aero Precision M5E AR-10 style rifle from the ground up, and one extremely hot cartridge rendered it useless. I would never recommend Grizzly Cartridge ammunition. Warn your friends, this stuff isn't safe! Notice how ballooned the casing is?...

This is a bit off topic, but I bought some Buffalo Bore 44mag 340gr +P+ for my Alaskan. There was only a handful of guns that were capable of shooting them. Got to be careful with some of the high-powered stuff. What a cannon!!!
