30 years ago, I rebarreled a '93 Mauser chambered for .222. I have shot it a lot, can get smaller than one-inch 5-shot groups at 100 yards, and have killed a lot of groundhogs and a couple of crows with it.

I have several different brands. No idea why i still have them around as they are not dependable with failure to feed being the biggest problem. If they were aluminum or steel the lips could be altered.
